Trio Sospiroso

Trio Sospiroso brings together Clare Mellor (flute) and Jenny Broome (harp), with either Lucinda Wright (cello) or Sue Black (viola). All are classical musicians with a wide experience of both orchestral and chamber music. Their lively concerts include favourite classics by Bax, Debussy and Ravel, wonderfully colourful arrangements, and contemporary music, some of which has been written specifically for the trio. They like to talk about the music, engaging their audiences with stories and images to bring it vividly to life. In planning programmes, the trio takes care to balance the music to give the audience a rewarding experience.
As one promoter wrote, "It is lovely to know that you enjoyed us, almost as greatly as we did you! It was a glorious afternoon, beautiful music perfectly played. A wonderful combination of instruments - and what repertoire! ...We look forward to next time!"

Trio Sospiroso are based in Berkshire and perform at concerts, festivals and music clubs throughout the country.
